For years I have always had an interest in creative processes with art, gardening and music. When I started with the lampworking art, I was intrigued with the color options, not to mention the many types of glass art choices of beads, marbles, or dishes the options are endless.
About ten years ago I attended an Art Show with my sisters, and we were attracted to a booth with fused focal pieces. The color and variety of styles were incredible. Yes, we each purchased at least one piece.
With this new interest in glass, beads, and lampwork, I signed up for classes in the Cleveland area, and was totally hooked. So I dabbled with the glass, MAPP gas and a hot head torch. At the time I was working fulltime, and really unable to dedicate much time to the glass. Then about three years ago I retired from my job of 26 years and decided that it was now time to be creative.
For the first year there was a lot of trial and error, and studying information on lampworking! But as time went on with new torches, kilns, ventilation and hour upon happy hour of honing my skills the trial and error now has become more of a pursuit of the unknown. Each piece is unique with a color thought or shape idea. I make each day a journey into the interaction of hues and shapes and see where it leads me.
Glass beads have been made for thousands of years, and used for not only jewelry, but currency and trade. Today they are used to accessorize a look, to give as a gift to one’s self, special friend or loved ones. I hope you’ll find something that will put a smile on your face by either wearing one of my pieces or giving it to someone special in your life.
I have worked with jewelry designers, bead crafters, and bead stores for three years and I am having a wonderful time. I have decided to try my hand at a web site and try to reach people who may not live in the same geography but live on the same plane. I offer bead sets to allow for your own creation. I also now offer finished pieces that allow you to simply use your own imagination as to how they would compliment your mood and wardrobe. Or find something that would let a loved one know they are being thought of.

Each piece is unique so once it’s purchased it will be removed from the Website and replaced with a different creation.
